After a short delay to let more important voices be heard, Google finally showed Android 11 Beta to the mobile world. Now that the platform has more or less decided what new features it will have, this is almost a signal for manufacturers and developers to take action. Of course, Google has not disclosed all the content that needs to be revealed, and only some keen-looking Android hobbyists are now noticing.
Considering multiple Android phones from different manufacturers, upgrading from iPhone to another phone is not always easy, which is different from iPhone.
Of course, Google-Direct is trying to simplify this operation by allowing users to store their settings in their cloud, and now it is doing similar things for a single application. The new Block Store function will actually store the user’s authentication or login credentials so that the same application installed on another phone with the same Google account will automatically log it into the application.
However, what if you have already installed the app and are only logged in or registered? Android 11's "-key" feature allows you to easily do this through your Google account without disturbing other login options. Sounds a lot like Google's Apple login version.
The long-rumored new feature of Android is "Nearby Sharing" (Nearby Sharing), the platform has been in a state of collapse in the past few years. This may eventually appear on Android 11, allowing users to share files easily and quickly using Bluetooth and ad hoc Wi-Fi connections.
Of course, people will worry about security and privacy, especially those that involve storing credentials even in Google’s cloud. We will have to wait and see to see how popular these features are, especially for applications and services that may still like to manage their own accounts.
