HTC's first 5G phone is equipped with Snapdragon 765G SoC and 5000mAh battery

HTC, a Taiwanese smartphone maker, launched its first 5G phone in Taiwan today, called U20 5G. It also happens to be the company's first mobile phone with a hole-punch display and a 48MP camera.
HTC U20 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s 7nm Snapdragon 765G chipset, paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It has a 6.8-inch FHD+ large display, a perforated cutout in the upper left corner, and a 32MP selfie camera.
On the back of the phone is a four-camera setup with a 48MP main sensor, 8MP ultra wide-angle lens, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP depth sensor.
It is also equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging, NFC and a rear fingerprint sensor.
In addition to U205G, HTC has also expanded the Desire series with the new Desire 20 Pro. The phone has a smaller 6.5-inch FHD+ display and 25MP selfie camera, and runs on the Snapdragon 665 chipset. Just like the U20 5G, Desire 20 Pro is equipped with a huge 5,000mAh battery, which can quickly charge 18W, and also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack. Both phones run Android 10 out of the box.
The price of HTC U20 5G in Taiwan is NT$18,990 (US$640), and it will be pre-ordered in the country on July 1. On the other hand, HTCDesire 20 Pro will be released in Taiwan in June. 18 New Taiwan Dollars (TWD 8,990) ($303) HTC has not announced any plans to push beyond Taiwan
