Samsung relaunches rugged Galaxy phone with new XCover Pro

Samsung's new XCoverPro is-a sturdy Galaxy design job.
All eyes may be on the upcoming Galaxy Unpacking event on February 11th, but that has not stopped Samsung from launching a new phone in the meantime. Following the announcement of the Galaxy S10Lite and Note10Lite earlier this month, the South Korean giant has added a new rugged smartphone to its Galaxy line.
Called Galaxy XCoverPro, the new phone looks like an updated version of the GalaxyS activity line from recent years. This phone has IP68 water resistance and dust resistance, and is MIL-STD810G certified. Samsung believes that it should provide "reliable protection against extreme heights, humidity and other harsh environmental conditions", with support for down to 1.5 meters (slightly lower than 5 feet).
XCover Pro has a 6.3-inch Full HD Plus "Infinite Display" designed for use in the rain or snow, with a 13-megapixel front-facing camera in the upper left corner. Behind are two rear cameras,-a 25-megapixel and F1.7 aperture and an 8-megapixel lens at F2.2.
This phone runs Android10 and is powered by Samsung's own Exynos9611 eight-core processor. It has built-in memory of 4GB and 64GB (expandable via microSD).
In addition to expandable storage, XCoverPro will also have a removable 4050m Ah battery.
In order to further indicate that this phone means business, Samsung has partnered with Microsoft to add a push-to-talkie function to phones that support the Microsoft team. The phone can also be used as a point of sale system and has been approved for Visa Tap to Phone pilot program. -A fingerprint sensor built into the phone
Side to match facial recognition for extra security.
Verizon will be available later in the "first half of 2020" for $ 500.
