In particular, wearers of eyeglasses prefer to grab a slightly damp eyeglass cleaning cloth and wipe it after the glasses are cleaned. A smart reuse, right? By the way! Active cleaners can even hurt your mobile companion.

The reason: Many smartphone manufacturers (such as Apple) rely on the so-called oleophobic coating of the device screen. This thin film ensures that the dirt and liquid on the screen are less noticeable and can be removed more quickly. Over time, the protective layer wears out on its own - however, in the worst case, wipe them with a seemingly harmless eyeglass cleaning cloth. So never clean your smartphone again? But don't worry, if you don't want to wipe your phone with a wipe, you can buy a product that contains a mild detergent; the appropriate manufacturer usually writes this on the package. Alternatively, you can use microfiber cloth or - in a classic way - a T-shirt top if you are not fresh from the garden.
