Laptop Battery Care

To ensure that your new battery lasts as long as possible, we ask that you read and follow the instructions below. These tips will tell you how to handle the battery and how to handle it. By following the operating instructions documented here, you can greatly extend the life of your battery, but be aware that batteries are consumables with limited life. The positive impact on battery life can be achieved, inter alia, by proper charging and discharging and proper operation. To do this, you should be aware of the following:

Battery safety and handling.
Never turn off the battery in a short time. A short circuit can cause serious damage to the battery. In the worst case, this is not available. You should also not drop the battery or otherwise damage the battery. We also want to point out that you should not abuse the battery in any other way to prevent corrosive substances from escaping from the internal cells.
Do not disassemble, modify or repair the battery. These operations can cause the battery to overheat and burn. Don't drill the battery! Leaking electrolytes (such as helium, cobalt) can be dangerous to them and their environment.

Battery safety and storage
Avoid storing the battery near heat or moisture. Keep batteries away from sources of ignition and other extreme heat sources. Storing near a strong heat source may cause the battery to explode. In addition, we want to point out in this context that you can't burn the battery.

How to store laptop battery?
Batteries that have not been connected to any circuit for a long time will not be available. If the battery is not used for a long time, the stored energy will be lost. In addition, the battery may be damaged. If you plan to connect the battery to the circuit for a month or more, follow the instructions below to store it properly.
Remove the battery from the computer and charge it 60%-80%. After charging the battery for 60%-80%, store it in a dry, cool place.
After long-term storage, an effective charging and discharging procedure (described below) must be performed to regain optimal battery performance. An effective charging and discharging process every month ensures perfect storage and reasonable battery life.

About rechargeable battery
Note The first charge of the laptop battery must be 24 hours. This process must be performed again after the battery has been completely discharged (for example, using it).

Oaking optimizes battery performance (deep discharge charging process) - basic / preconditions
The battery capacity of a battery is determined by the microprocessor inside the battery. They can affect the volume through a targeted loading and unloading process. In addition to performing the procedures described below, make sure that the amount of power displayed on the screen matches the battery level. We recommend repeating the following charging process every 2-3 months. Please note that the full charge process may take more than 5 hours after discharge.

- Calibration process
First disconnect the laptop from the power source (unplug the AC adapter from the main power source). Then wait for the calibration process until the laptop automatically goes to sleep (due to the used battery). Of course, you can use your laptop until the battery is exhausted. Please note! When using a laptop, the battery consumes more energy.
Once the laptop switches to sleep mode due to the used battery, you can begin the calibration process. Turn the charger off to the PC and power. Fully charge the battery (display: 100%).

The described loading and unloading process should be repeated 3-4 times before the first use and after restoring the longer shelf life of the battery to achieve the best performance of the notebook battery.

After the battery is calibrated, you need to set the default (default) energy option on your notebook to ensure that the laptop sends the correct warning (eg low power state, warning before the laptop goes to sleep)

To completely shut down the PC, you must discharge completely. You can then charge the battery to 100% and use it for calibration. Once the battery is calibrated, you can connect or disconnect the charger at any time, regardless of the state of charge of the battery. In addition, you can perform the deep charge and discharge processes described above under the control of circuit protection for a period of time. However, this process does not increase the current performance of the battery.

Note: Your computer goes to sleep when the battery is nearly empty. A small amount of energy remaining in the battery remains in the battery. This residual energy ensures that the PC goes to sleep in a short time. If the battery is completely drained, the PC will suddenly shut down. Please note that if you do this, you will lose any unsaved unopened documents.
